Description
The i9-14900KF is the top of the Raptor Lake Refresh desktop stack: eight performance cores that reach 6.0 GHz under Thermal Velocity Boost, plus sixteen efficiency cores that absorb background load so the P-cores stay on the foreground task. The KF suffix means no integrated graphics — the die is identical to the KS/K parts, the display engine is simply disabled, which is why it lands below the i9-14900K on price.

Where it fits
Workstations and enthusiast builds paired with a discrete GPU, where the display output of an iGPU would never be connected anyway. Budget for cooling honestly: 253 W of turbo power wants a 360 mm AIO or a dual-tower air cooler, and a 125 W-rated cooler will hold the part well below its rated boost.
